サイホーン, the “spikes” Pokemon, is 3’3” and weighs 253.5 lbs. “Rhyhorn” is derived from the igneous rock rhyolite. Its design is inspired by an Indian rhinoceros. Its brain is very small, so when it runs, it forgets why it started and continues until it falls asleep. However, it may recall the reason upon demolishing something. Rhyhorn runs in a straight line due to its short legs making it inept at turning. It doesn’t care if obstacles get in the way since it merely smashes through them. サイドン, the “drill” Pokemon, is a powerhouse whose horn is able to bore through solid rock and even shatter diamonds.
The last time Batman appeared in a Warner Bros. animated production in the Bruce Timm “style,” it was in the Justice League Unlimited series, which ended in 2004.
Now, the big-eared, Timm-designed version of Batman is back in a new short for Cartoon Network’s DC Nation block, titled Batman Strange Days, which finds the Dark Knight taking on Hugo Strange and a mysterious, Solomon Grundy-like giant. It looks dark –virtually black and white or sepia — and features Batman firing a huge gun evocative of Gundam Wing‘s Twin Buster Rifle marked “tear gas.”
